After taking a much needed break, I will be returning with all new post and recipes July 1st, 2019. I’m looking forward to sharing with you all again, so much as happened for my family and I within the past year, I hope you’re ready for the new and exciting recipes I have coming!
One of the things I love the most about Southern and Soul Food are the yummy collard greens. This is my go-to collard green recipe that has a little spice, and a hint of sweetness that tones down the heat level perfectly. It is super easy to make, and also very delicious! It pairs well as a side dish to almost anything!
Hey y'all! I know it has been a while since I've last uploaded a recipe. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted about the passing of our beloved fur baby Brownie. A few weeks ago she got sick and we had to lay her to rest. I had no clue how hard it would be on my family, and mainly on me. We all cried, and it has take me a while to heal from her loss. I've had her since the 10th grade, and I've loved her for almost 20 long years!
The break was something I truly needed, because I had no clue how hard it would be! But now I'm back with one of my easy go-to Mac and Cheese recipes to share with you all! This recipe is super easy to make; it is bursting with flavor, and it has a nice crispy outer crust, while still moist and cheesy on the inside!

These pancakes are a family favorite in my home, I make them every... yes... EVERY Saturday as part of out family weekend tradition. Not only are these pancakes super easy and fun to make, they also taste amazing! They're sweet, fluffy, and they don't need any additional butter topping. Once you give this recipe a try, you will no longer care for the box pancake mix... or even going to your favorite pancake house!

One of my guilty... but not so guilty pleasures are Fried Green Tomatoes. Oh, and these are not your traditional Fried Green Tomaotes! I have honestly been making them this way for quite a few years now. Not only are they vegan (no egg used), but they are flaky, crunchy, and bursting with flavor!! Enjoy these fried tomatoes with my recipe for some delicious vegan sour cream remoulade sauce! Video below!
